"It's in my future plans. It's definitely in my future plans. I want to have that fight. I want to give that to the fans. I'm just not sure when."

    :-(

Uhhh, did Canelo magically forget that he has to fight Golovkin next or he's going to lose the belt?

    :huh

I wouldn't be so sure that he's losing that belt. The WBC seems to consistently give Canelo and Oscar their blessing, and I'd be surprised if that changed any time soon.

    Literally every response.

"It will happen. Of course it will happen. We want it to happy. It'll happen, don't worry. This fight must happen. We want that fight. We want to give the fans that fight. We will give the fans that fight.... but we just don't know when or what the future holds."

Canelo is dropping that belt with the quickness. Then, his team will say GGG "ducked" them for refusing to fight at 155lbs with a 30% cut.

Thats only happened once though. It was the consensus thought that WBC gave Canelo a free voluntary because he just fought the Lineal champ and deserved a tune up before GOlovkin.

Anytime people talk about this subject they act like Cotto and Canelo are the same person and that the WBC has gave that conjoined person multiple passes when that isn't the case. Cotto got one and Canelo got his one. We haven't seen what the WBC would do after that point because Cotto lost against his free voluntary.

Probably when Golovkin and his team finally decide to stop munching on handpicked tomato cans.

I don't know what the legal framework is when it comes to sanctioning bodies but if WBC doesn't strip Canelo after Khan for not fighting GGG, then K2 should sue WBC and ask the court to forbid them to sanction any event in the US until the matter is resolved. That's the kind of thing WBC needs.

Lets just look at the WBC's history of "GIVING" popular Mexicans WBC title shots even if they are not in the rankings.
    Chavez Jr. comes to mind.:think

Don't let the perception fool you, you are forgetting 2 things. :)

    1) Always remember that everyone watches over their own skin first.

    2) WBC have been granting those exceptions with K2 blessing.

I predict that WBC ultimately strips Canelo (or makes him a champ in recess/emeritus or something) if Golovkin activates his mandatory position later this year.

Canelo is like a virgin on a date with a horny man. She knows she is gonna get ****ed, so she keeps trying to postpone it.

Point #2 is a good one indeed. But all the same, you seem to have more faith in the WBC than I do. I think they'll follow the money, and if there's any chance of Canelo-Pacquiao or Mayweather-Canelo II, or even Canelo-Cotto II - I can't see them forcing the issue, especially since they are long known to make up the rules as they move along.

Time will tell. But I believe the WBC and Golden Boy have a symbiotic relationship of sorts. And I don't think Golovkin has the muscle to break the bonds of that pairing.

    But maybe that's just me.

In that case, it will be time for another devastating lawsuit. thankfully, the blueprint for bankrupting wbc is already there, as well as the precedent.
