Fact: He asked for it, fact the renegotiated 152. Fact: He did not have to do it but he did, no one can force him.

    Canelo asked for 150...

duckweather asked for 150 against canelo......... canelo said no way then duckweather offered 152 take it or leave so canelo accepted it just to make the fight............

duckweather also tried getting dela hoya at 147 what a shame duckweather should be fighting at middleweight and is asking for these catch weights .......

19yr old, 23yr old it doesn't matter he said the ****. Anyway on fight night he clearly was the bigger man between the two. So him being weight drained to the point that he couldn't compete is ludicrous. He got out boxed and admitted it at the end of the fight. He said nothing about being weight drained at all. So it wasn't a factor then, and shouldn't be used as a factor now that he lost, because had he won the fight it wouldn't be a factor for the victory.

Pacquiao tried getting Mosely at 142 or 143. They got Oscar 147, Cotto at 145, Margarito at 150, Marquez at 144, and now they want Canelo at 150 (lower than 152).

What do you have to say about that?

Yup the fight didn't happen, if you're going to criticize Mayweather, you have to criticize all of Pac's catchweights....

Fact: Canelo ASKED for 150 because he thought he could win easily. He thought 152 was extremely fair and that's why he took it.... Mayweather destroyed him. :hi:

Yupppp. And it's an insult to any boxing fan's intelligence for anyone to act like the catchweight was Canelo's idea or something. Obviously the catchweight benefitted Floyd, and normally it wouldn't have created such a stir if it wasn't for Floyd's known stance on catch weights from what he said in the buildup to his fight with Cotto. Floyd and TMT trying to play it off like it was Canelo's idea wasn't being honest about it.

Not all Floyd fans are *****s, you are obviously one of the non-***** Floyd fans. I know some people try to put everyone in a group, either *******s or *****s. But you just showed that you're neither. I'm also neither a ******* or a *****.

In your book he doesn't, but most give him credit for it, because Canelo couldn't do ****, because he couldn't touch him. You would think less weight would make him quicker, but it didn't. So more weight would made him even slower, stronger, but slower, and the out come would of still been the same. Canelo didn't use the weight he had on him in the first place to try to win the fight. He tried to outbox Floyd that's why he lost. Canelo fought the wrong fight, and that's not Floyd fault, that's Canelo and his team who didn't tell him to use the advantage that he had, rather then fight the other guys fight.

how old was canelo when he asked for 150??... dude was eating cucumbers but was extremely happy right??
154 was fair for cotto and oscar but not for canelo??
but canelo him self said on all access floyd was the one crying about the weight , it was 152 or no fight...
canelo undefeated cuz according to floyd 2lbs are enough to drain you...

Mayweather wants Martinez at 150, winky and Canelo to have rehydration clause. Dragged Marquez up two divisions at 144 CW then not honoring it.

    Canelo SAID

    Canelo SAID

They renegotiated 152, both parties were happy with it. Canelo just wants to make excuses for getting owned..... Mayweather was called out by him to be at 150, and they renegotiated 152.

Yuppppp. this is actually what TMT used as the evidence of Canelo wanting the catchweight when pressed about the catchweight by the media. TMT took a old interview with Canelo from years before the Floyd Canelo negotiations when Canelo was a smaller fighter and answered a question about fighting Floyd at 150. In using that, they tried to play it off as if that was Canelo's current stance, which was obviously untrue.

Yeah they were in the kitchen right, I remember that scene. Who are you going to believe? Canelo or Floyd? Canelo has no incentive to request having anything below 154. Floyd was the one fighting at 147 and 154. Many people consider Floyd a legit 154 lb champion, which adds to his accomplishments, but he would not defend that title at the weight limit.
