First of all, the catchweight (155 instead of 160) helps Khan, not Canelo.

Khan is coming up from 147, so this is basically a JWM fight + 1 lb. Since Khan’s never fought at MW, or at JMW for that matter, the weight makes sense.

Lets not confuse the wanting for Canelo vs GGG to take place at 160 and not a catchweight with this fight. It is much easier to gain weight than to lose weight so I don’t have a problem with this. Neither fighter will be drained at 155 which was my biggest criticism of previous catchweights.
