I'd bet anything that he won't be fighting Berto next. I'm not sure why people lower the bar for Mayweathwr so much. You have all these people claiming he'll fight someone like Berto. However, when is the last time he has fought someone who wasn't a championship level fighter that was riding some momentum?
Fighting Mayweather at WW was actually better for Hatton. He had less weight to cut and he was going against a guy who was smaller than many of the guys he was fighting at 140. It's the same thing with the Rios/Pac fight. It's a benefit for Rios to have that fight at WW.
**** that, if Canelo really does come down to 147, I'd rather see him in the ring against Marquez. deal:deal
Lets see when Floyd offer to fight Hatton at 140 , his father stated he was not ready . So floyd moved to 147 end of story.
Of Floyd had never fought at 154, let alone twice, I'd be inclined to agree. But since May holds a title at 154, a fight at that weight makes sense.
