Andrade has been waiting in the wings for years now while Canelo fought the likes of Angulo, Khan, and Smith. Lara, Kirkland, and Cotto were actually decent opponents though so you can't say he's faced nobody, and in the meantime Andrade hasn't been facing anybody of note. So you can't say he's been campaigning for the fight. If Andrade actually wanted to do something with his career then he shouldn't have ducked out of the Charlo fight on three weeks notice.
