Canelo shouldn't be compared with Mex ATGs Morales, Barrera, Marquez!

    All those guys had GREAT WINS, & WARS

    Morales beat a Prime Pacquaio

    MAB beat a prime Prince Hamed

    JMM beat a Prime Pacquaio

    Not to mention all there great wars and good wins

    Canelos best win is what Trout? A controversial win over Lara?

    Dont mention Canelo with ATGs until he earns it

    His Floyd performance was a JOKE!!

    Give him time. Those guys didn't accomplish any more when they were his age.

    Stupid thread since;

    1. No one really says he is on their level.
    2. None of those guys had accomplished what Canelo has accomplished at his age.
    3. Canelo is actually on a very good pace to becoming an ATG. If he can be a top fighter/champion for another 5 years he will undoubtedly be a Mex ATG.

    He needs a ATG rival the way Erik and Marco had one another, Marquez and Pacquiao had one another

    Could that rival be GGG?

    wouldn't rule out a GGG-Canelo trilogy either, especially if Canelo survives 12 rounds when/if they ever fight, Oscar knows his business well

    Yeah well don't be too harsh on him he hasn't got any real competition yet, he looked **** poor against Mayweather but so do many great fighters, Lara he had running for the hills, not a bad scalp, he only just s****ed it and showed his limitations though but can't have everything. Wait for Cotto and Golovkin, even if he loses to Cotto, he can fight Golovkin down the line. I mean damn even fat Chavez would make a great fight just because Jr's chin and persistence is something to behold.

    No, he's not on a good pace. I had him losing to Lara and people had him losing to Trout. Those are his two biggest wins, and it's up for debate if he even won them. So yeah, saying none of these guys did what Canelo did at his age is pretty much a nonsensical statement.

    Golovkin will knock his head off his shoulders anyways if Canelo doesn't duck.
