Canelo shouldn't be compared with Mex ATGs Morales, Barrera, Marquez!

At the moment of course not he only recently turned 25 and who knows what he will go on to achieve.

Barrera at the same age had just beaten Wenton and had 2 losses to Junior Jones.

Morales at the same age had just beaten In Jin Chi, was a 2 weight world champion but was about to lose to Barerra.

Marquez at 25 hadn't even won a world title yet.

I don't get the point in hating on Alvarez one of the few fighters who will fight anyone and has actually gone out of his way to prove it. When it's all said and done who knows where Alvarez will rank.

I personally think Alvarez beats Cotto and GGG in the next year I wonder would opinions change then or will they just become shot and a hype job respectively.

MARQUEZ never beat prime Pacquiao. He got a draw and a split decision loss. But who cares? Nobody cared too much when two great fighters in their prime have the courage to face one another in the ring.

Marquez arguably won all 4 fights vs Pac which is the reason they kept fighting because after every decision the majority thought Marquez won.

He didn't win the first two which are the legacy fights.

Canelo is one of the few fighters today taking on challenge after challeneg. He pretty much cleaned out Jr.MW including his soon to be KO W over Miguel Cotto.

Canelo has a couple of close wins that can be argued against him if you're full of hate or bias. But that is not anything new in boxing. Oscar had a close fight against JJMolina, Floyd against JLC, Sal Sanchez, JCChavez, and a host of many greats all had close fights, so I don't understand why Canelo is an exception to you.

I also don't understand why you bring Golovkin up. If Canelo were to lose or even get KO by Golovkin, does that make him a bum in your book? Do you consider fighters who lose one or two fights damaged goods?

You have a problem with Canelo and it goes beyond his boxing skills and accomplishments, but I suppose that is your own personal problem.
