The Forrest win alone gives the edge to Mora. Berto has the edge otherwise. Overall, gotta give it to Mora.

 

I think Alvarez gets too much criticism because of the Cotto fight. That was a test, on a huge stage, yet he still won. He got hurt but that's not rare in those types of fights, but people say he has a bad chin.

On ESB, there's no middle ground between Terry Norris and JCC.

 

Come on, Berto has been tested. Maybe he beat Collazo, maybe he didn't, but that's a test from an obvious world class fighter.

 

No bias at all there Freddy. Mora has been inactive for two years and has only had one tune-up since his dominating loss to Vernon Forrest. He came in overweight and helps Mosley in no way. It's a meaningless fight.

On the other hand Berto has a belt, is in his natural weight-class, is young and undefeated.

 

You can't teach the kind of experience he gained that night.

Canelo got hit because he had the bad habit of holding his right hand wide and cotto timed him as he was coming in. It is an issue that has been since resolved.
