not sold on alvarez at all but this ia good test for him. baldomir is a bit past it and if alvarez can control this fight he will earn alotta props. he just cant get caught like he did vs cotto the senior

He's not quite fully developed yet, but it's hard to imagine anyone seeing him and not liking what's already there.

 

That's very nice, but that doesn't really explain a reason, I mean it's not like he fights for free because he has pride and fights for love. He can have pride and fight for love and still charge the fee.

Don't get me wrong I agree it's very classy of him, and I love the way he took care of Baldo, I just found it curious. I guess if anything it showed a lot of confidence in his abilities and good character.

reagardless he is an Experienced fighter that has only been knocked out once in 63 Proffesional fights in a span of about 15 years.

He got KTFO so this says something he has always been regarded as having a granite chin.

Alvarez was expected to win... but not many expected with flying colors in such spectacular fashion...

 

Great fight for a young prospect. He exceeded expectations which is all we can ask for. The kid's got skills that's for sure and he seems to have the mental strength to overcome which is huge. He makes some mistakes from time to time but he's always improving. Based on this performance and how he fought I'd say he's the truth. He needs to continue pushing the needle so his talents don't go to waste.. Being so young the skys the limits. Chavez Jr doesn't need that fight with Alverez right now.
