    context? One country lives and breathes boxing, not to mention the history they have - and the other that barely values the sport.

    What does licking nuts have to do with comparing the # of free TV viewers in Mexico to the # of HBO subscribers who watch boxing? Im guessing nothing? since your post brought nothing sensible to this discussion kindly fukk off and make posts about licking nuts elsewhere

    Boxing routinely brings in around 20 million viewers in Mexico. It's free there. HBO barely has that many subscribers and will generally get around 1 million viewers for boxing. The comparison is not apt. You need to compare their ratings on HBO or pay per view to get an apples to apples type comparison of their relative popularity.

    Whichever way you want to see it, Canelo is the biggest darw in boxing save Pacquiao.

    Cotto, Pacquiao, Alvarez, Klitschko are all superstars who generate big numbers. Golovkin might have bridged over on that side after his last fight.
    And Joshua is likely the next big star. Not much going after those guys.
