Jerry Jones will bring any type event to his venue.....as long as he can "make a buck".

If GGG sold 600k ppv's then Lara sold 300k and Victor Ortiz sold 1 mil.

That was on regular HBO. Only a delusional idiot would pay for Canelo at this point. He is a total fraud.

It was on HBO and PPV. And I have no problems paying for PPVs, especially if its a fighter who actually seeks challenges. I will also be buying the Canelo's PPV against Golovkin next fall.

Boxing is different in my culture, fight parties are about friends and family. We buy most PPV fights.

Must suck to not have any frineds or family to watch boxing and party with.

LOL because I am not going to buy perhaps the 2nd worse PPV so far of 2016 it means I have no friends or family? Explain that logic to me. Canelo seeking challenges? How much is that ***** going to rehydrate to Saturday night? 180? Your culture should be ashamed of a ***** like Canelo I know I would be.

My culture is not invested on one fighter, we are invested in the sport, and as a tradition we have fight parties just about every Cinco de Mayo and MX independence day. Nothing new, or out of the ordinary. My GF who is a geek and a 7th grade teacher knows more about boxing and understands it more than 99% of the *******s and GolovStans. Truth.

Dropping $75 on those dates is nothing. Hell, we paid Mayweather even when he fought Guerrero. We just love boxing, and we love to party and socialize and eat bomb Mexican food.

I live in Dallas and went to the Pac-Clotty fight. It was a good undercard.
Oh, and I didn't pay for the tickets.

I'm not going to see Canelo "154lb zombie" Alvarez fight a nobody. Unless I get
    free tickets.

This isn't an awful fight but there's no way this should be on PPV. This should be on regular HBO.

I was going to say less than Canelo-Khan but more than Golovkin-Lemieux as recent examples of US PPVs in the 154-160 range. I think that approximately splits the difference between the two.
