GiGi has no choice though, he ducked the Ward super fight and is now stuck in bumland, desperately trying to get a payday. If he wants the payday, then he'll get the fight. Hopkins straight up jumped at the chance to fight Oscar for the undisputed MW championship of the world at a 156 pound catchweight in HBO ppv.

Money talks, if GiGi wants the payday and lineal belt, he'll have to bend over backwards for the Ginger.

GGG should agree to 155 , then at the weigh in come in at 160 and they agree it is for a non-title fight . The world won't care about a few pounds but they will see who is the better middle-weight .

Agree to 50/50 split up front for a fight that might happen in 12-18 months. Ward wastes time on tune ups while Golovkin does all the legwork building the fight.

If Canelo wants to weigh in at 155 thats fine, but you're fighting for the middleweight crown so dont try and handicap your opponent. Lost so much respect for Canelo with this catchweight lark
