Canelo STILL firm on 155 "GGG said 154-168 anyone right?! Be true to your word!"

Makes no difference. Ward isn't comfortable at 164. Terrible idea. He would be insanely drained. Bro. Pretty easy to see. Canelo is giving Bumluvkin his just desserts. I love it

You dont't know **** about boxing the fight was at 152 because PBF could get it there. He was the A-side the cash cow he called the shots don't you forget that. A fight at 154 wouldn't have made an ounce of difference you know this already but hold on to that as if it means something. Was Canelo all of sudden going to to have faster feet hands or better reflexes than PBF at 154?:nut Anyone who saw that fight realized it was pure domination that would have been the same at 147, 150, 152 or 154 Canelo was lucky to win a round.

Well lets remember when Cotto had the strap, there wasn’t much talk about Cotto vs GGG, and there wasn’t much outrage about Cotto’s catchweights. There was some criticism sure, but nothing like this.

I mean most people said Cotto wasn’t a real MW, so they really didn’t blame him for doing the catchweights. But Canelo, he’s much bigger and strong than Cotto, so he needs to fight at 160.

All these double standards for Canelo. No one made these same demands for Cotto. Why do you ask? Well I think Canelo’s the biggest star in boxing right now so he’s getting a lot of attention and people want to see him show his toughness, more than other fighters like Cotto.

Canelo is literally saving us from the hypocrite weight draining era of boxing led by Floyd, Pac-Man, and Cotto.

It makes all the difference, there's at least 1 division between Ward and GGG, there isn't such case with Canelo.

WTF is the point of catchweight between 2 guys in the same division? Would you support cw fight between Ward and DeGale/Dirrells?

So let me get this straight (lol).. Canelo would have been the same exact fighter if he drained himself down to 147, the same fighter that he would be at 150, or 152 or 154 LMAO?

Just so we’re clear, you’re saying if Canelo had drained himself to 147 he’d be the same fighter he would be at 154? Don’t you think draining himself that low would make him unhealthy? Didn’t you see what happen to Bad Chad when he went down to meet Ward? Dude was never the same again!

If that is the case, once again I ask you why would Floyd ask Canelo to make 147, then 150, etc if it was such easy work?

It doesn't matter what weight it was at the result would have been the same. What don't you understand about that? PBF is a horrible match up for Canelo just like he was for JMM the weight is irrelevant, he beats any version of both fighters.:deal

OK And I understand that. He does hold the Lineal MW Title he should defend it, and I don’t want to see a catchweight either.

But can you agree, just for the sake of argument, that Floyd had (likewise at the division below) refused to fight Canelo at the Jr MW limit. (basically what you’re criticizing Canelo for doing now Floyd did when he fought Canelo in 2013)

Not only that, but can you also agree that Floyd has refused to defend his WBA and WBC 154-lb titles as a JR MIDDLEWEIGHT?

I can agree with what your saying, all I’m asking is that you apply the same stuff to Floyd. In your opinion, shouldn’t Floyd have to vacate his titles now that he’s retired? Shouldn’t there be a fight for the vacant 154-lb titles if Floyd isn’t gonna fight again?

Sadly, "deserve" rarely has anything to do with anything in the sport of boxing. And this has been the case since the beginning.

Who the f@ck cares what Canelo says. Either they agree on all terms or there will be a purse bid with no weight discussion.
