I understand the argument of catch weight title fights and feel it is valid, at the same time all this talk of backtracking and being scared is a bit ridiculous.

First off I could see if Canelo won the title at 160 and then asked for a catch weight vs GGG, but dude won the title at 155 and offered to defend it at the weight he won it at I can understand hating on the came but that isn't a contradiction or backtracking.

People bring up the weight arugment but unless your gonna start calling for all fighter to not rehydrate this is the dumbest sh!t ever. People consider a guy like Pacquiao a 135/40 fighter and he's been weighing 147 since he was at 122/26. Now guys are exaggerating his weight talking about 180 when the most he's been in the ring is 170/1 which is the exact same as basically every 154&60 fighter fighting today.

I don't care what weight they fight at GGG has said out his own mouth he can make 154 so he really has no excuse, y'all are crying over bullish!t this fight more than likely happens this fall everything else is just talk right now.

The purported middleweight champ is scared to fight GGG at 160, but GGG is the coward?

Middleweight means 160 weight limit. Get a grip.

GGG needs to man up and keep his word

155 is between 154-168 like he said

Canelos even nice enough to give him the extra pound.

It was not only a stylistic nightmare, but just a matter of caliber and class. Mayweather is a much better fighter than Alvarez. I was sort of surprised that people actually gave Alvarez a decent chance, even with the size advantage.

The 152 catchweight was lame as I am just sick of all these catchweights title bouts in addition to the countless divisions we now have, and it made Floyd look like a hypocrite for all the **** he talked about Pac's catchweights, but I can't imagine it being different at 154. I don't know Canelo's body but he didn't look too compromised to me. He's just an inferior fighter to Floyd. They're not even close in caliber.

That was before he was the MW champ. That title is for 160 lbs. Canelo is Yellow.
