Canelo said "I’ve always told my team if i leave the 154 lb division, i’m going to leave as a champion". Now that Canelo has achieved his goal of re-establishing himself as a title holder at 154, he is considering moving up to Middleweight, but he doesn't know yet. It depends what his team decide, what fights are out there. And you know maybe it depends on GG's team and if they decide to grow up and learn how to negotiate. Team GG's attitude has been to insult Canelo and talk trash, but to make a mega fight team GG need to learn how to talk to Oscar and GBP. One thing Team GG can do to start negotiatons is to congratulate Canelo on his big win instead of say "no comment". Team GG has been very negative towards Canelo and GBP and that makes it nearly impossible to start negotiations. There are many fights out there for Canelo at 154 or 160. If Team GG wants to fight then it better learn how to negotiate and learn that GG is in Canelo Era now not the other way around !!
