Canelo to be ringside at Lemieux/Saunders

If LeMeow wins as I exepect, there will be an inhouse fight between him and Canelo.
If BJS wins it's up to negotiations I guess.

 

And a very pretty KO, I'd expect. Lemieux should be like shooting fish in a barrel for a sharpshooter like Canelo.

 

Not so sure about that. Although I favor Alvarez in that bout, it won't be a walk in the park by any means.

 

Lemieux is a bespoke opponent for Alvarez by my lights, at least if he fights according to type. Canelo thrives when faced with this less cultured brand of aggression - I'd expect him to see everything coming and tee off with his big shots. I find it hard to even credit Lemieux with anything more than the slimmest of puncher's chances, considering the younger man's robust chin and keen defense.

If the Quebecer shows respect and tries to box, he gets methodically picked apart.

I cant believe they're gonna duck the rematch with GGG... GGG and his promoter should be pushing more for this too.. Its just stupid to wait.. for both of them
