The funny thing is that he probably weighed more than GGG (when GGG fought Lemieux) last night.

He should immediately vacate the title and do whatever he likes. There's no shame in doing this if he doesn't want to fight at 160. He will just needs to have non title fights if he can't make 154 or 160 anymore. There's no 155 division and he needs to accept that.

He is much younger than GGG and cuts weight much easier, so he wants to use that as his advantage by weakening CPG.

I hope they agree to something like 158 or WBC keeps its word and strips Canelo.

Heard he refused to step on the unofficial scale so he can say he's a smaller fighter. But we all know he was at least 170 lbs last night.

Canelo will get GGG to meet him at 157.if GGG can't meet canelo halfway then he is scared plain and simple. Canelo has never fought at 160, if GGG wants the payday of his life and fight the best professional fighter he has ever faced he will meet canelo halfway or he can keep knocking out bums at 160 for peanuts the rest of his career.

God I'm so sick of this "big name fighter gets his own weigh division" ****.

They used to have catchweight fights here and there throughout boxing history...now it's ALL THE DAMN TIME.

There's already enough weight divisions as it is.

F@ck that little ginger b@tch, he's a scared little p@ssy. He doesn't want to be a real middleweight and he doesn't want any of Golovkin. What happened to "I never back down from a challenge"...... just vacate already you little

    Fight or drop the belt.
Cant force a catchweight on a mandatory.

All it means is Canelo isnt confident enough to fight GGG at 160.

No problem with that as no one can beat him at that weight.

Half way between 160 and 160 is 160. Only fighters from different weight classes can meet in the middle.

I agree that Canelo could buy a couple pounds if he pays enough, but he may not be able to pay enough for 5, 4 or even 3 pounds.

Canelo is right, he is the champ and he makes the rules, all boxing rules are to be bent in his favor now
