So what he's saying is he might go up to 158 for the Golovkin fight? That basically confirms that Canelo's offer to GGG was a 10m flat fee and 155.

He's only 26 and still has plant of time to move up to 160

 

Let's hope that means next fight is at 158 in like February, full 160 cinco de mayo weekend, then he meets his maker in September.

 

He is obviously looking to fight GGG at 160 otherwise GGGs very vocal camp would of cried foul about the catchweight if it was in the offer. Lets not jump to nonsensical conclusions.

To confirm he wanted to fight Golovkin at 155 I'd probably expect a statement saying he wanted to fight Golovkin at 155.
