the chances of canelo fighting trout, a southpaw, are slim and none.

in fact they are so slim, ill do a one month ESB ban bet that they dont fight on may 4th

there are better fights for canleo once he steps up to fight a legit 154.

that being molina, an orthodox fighter with no power.

i hope canelo does fight trout an beats him then no one can say that he doesnt deserve a shot at mayweather.but he will probs be fighting cotto wich i think he wins he is to big a strong for cotto.

 

if you read the article canelos trainer said that cotto was "ruled out" after the loss to trout; this after they publically stated that they would be fighting cotto regardless if he won or lost against trout.

for people that are not prone to buying bridges, in all likelihood cotto has told them as well as gbp that he is not interested in fighting on may 4th.

which paints canelo into a nice dark corner.

I hope its trout if mayweather is still on vacation or whatever he's doing. I believe canelo can beat trout and it will be a great great win for canelo. I think canelo beating trout is better then lara beating a decline ruined chin williams who was coming off a ko lost to martinez.

 

Ive never bought this "Canelo is scared of this guy or that guy" nonsense on this page.

Hes been fighting men since he was 15, I really dont think he "fears" anyone.

Hes been scheduled to fight Williams,Kirkland, Ortiz and Cotto in the past couple of years and all those fights fell through for one reason or another.

I don't doubt Canelo's desire to fight Trout. I doubt GBP's eagerness to make the fight happen.

 

I think Canelo can catch up to Trout and beat him but would not be surprised if slippery trout can pull off the win.

Forget Trout,he can't draw flies and is boring.Canelo-Cotto is a lock and much more exciting.
