It's true, but Floyd wasn't babied like Canelo. I get he didn't have an amateur career, but he had a shitton of pro fights and once you win the title, the training wheels need to come off. Look at Chavez, he's less talented and they stepped him up pretty fast after he won his title. But big props to him now for insisting on Trout, lets see if he can back up the hype
Floyd won his 1st title 2 years after turning pro, against a very legit Genaro. Canelo's first belt was a total setup against unranked welter Hatton, at a CW Canelo didn't even honor. Then he fought patsies for 2 years straight. But again, he's got plenty of time to erase that rep, and Trout is a great start (unless he gets exposed)
