1 thing I know for sure is the big fights never get made in the media. Whenever it's this many stories around a fight it won't get made until they stfu. Always happens that way, things get quiet and fights get made but as long as Benavidez Sr. Is negotiating with the internet we may never see it. And yes he talks way to much and basically has been caught lying in interviews before.

With the "deal with it" meme shades on says "he brings nothing to the table but 25 extra lbs on fight night." That's cold.

    He's speaking facts

There's very little difference between Munguia and Benavidez except maybe 20 lbs.

Cold? He was trying to hide the fear in his eyes. Cold is not making excuses for ducking.

He just asked for 200 million dollars to fight a guy that apparently brings nothing to the table, while holding the undisputed title hostage. Gangsta!

It's the most pussiest thing I have ever seen in the history of boxing.

Leo Santa Cruz did something similar with Rigondeaux. He talked a big game and then demanded some ridiculous purse, which was twice as much as their respective career high paydays combined.
    It´s pathetic.

It would be hard to see the difference with Canelo's spunk in the frame of your glasses.

What I was saying all along is now clear:

He NEVER intended to fight Benavidez.

I am glad that DB got the memo and moved on with his career, but watching Canelo squirm like this is pure comedy.

I can't wait to see what he comes up with when he has to do his preas conferences for the Berlanga fight.

Im glad its finally become so blatant. Crying about the weight and demanding 200m. Made it as obvious in day. And people actually thought he was going to fight him and was just marinating it. lol. He was giving duck signals for years. Now he was finally cornered like a rat, and finally got exposed.

I do believe Canelo would eventually fight Benavidez, but he is a diva. Andrade found out first hand, but I don´t think he ever came to the realization. Andrade was a known commodity and a well ranked boxer, but he lacked a fanbase. He, like many others, thought he could bully his way into a big fight. So he started harassing Canelo and Canelo completely turned him down. Andrade, despite being with DAZN, ruined any chance of getting the Canelo payday.

I honestly believe that Benavidez´ team have said some much BS that Canelo simply does not care to fight him. Because for Canelo, this is just another fight.

Canelo is aware its the biggest fight in the sport and the most lucrative for him. Saying Benavidez is just another fight is rubbish. Ryder was just another fight, not Benavidez. When he mentioned the weight he exposed his fear right there. Even mentioning what someones dad said is laughable. Apparently because a fighters dad was disrespectful you won't fight him? Comical.
