Canelo Update: Fight with Trout in May, Guaranteed Floyd in Sept

I know right. Mayweather is known for making fights with opponents coming off good wins. This potential upcoming Guerrero fight doesn't measure as well by that standard.

 

Its not about selling the fight. Thats a no-brainer. The fights already sold. Its about putting your 0 up against a kid who has to prove his worth first.

 

Well, mainly because of what has happened to the young man outside the ring with putting his career on hold because of his wife's cancer, I'm glad Guerrero is getting the pay day. He earned the mandatory position so good for him.

 

Like I said, none of them are banging on my door to make these decisions for them.

 

Mags negative outlook on Floyd is exactly why Canelo has to beat someone credible first. If he doesnt, youll hear guys like him say Canelo was too green and not ready, or never really that good. Fans never have any patience let alone logic. Theyre just about gimme gimme gimme, now now now! Then they aint evn grateful after they get what they want.

 

Even tho i wanted to see Marquez get another crack at Floyd, I still agree that Guerrero is next in line. Well him or Bradley but we all know whats going on there. Guerrero is entertaining as well in and out the ring so the 24/7 as well as the fight will deliver.
