    uh, no.

wbc and suliaman are going to strip him.

and then vanes and lara will fight to be the rightful new owner of the superwelterweight belt.

Floyd could have picked Canelo but decided to go for smaller paycheck in Guerrero.

No reason to believe their fight will ever happen.

**** Canelo. It went from "he's young they are moving him slow" to "unless I get the biggest money fight possible I just going to fight another bum or undersized past prime opponent.

Enough is enough fans need to start putting these ****s in their place instead of blindly putting money in their pockets. This right here is the reason that "all boxers deserve our respect" is horse****. Its obvious they have no respect for us or else they'd give us our moneys worth without having to get paid a small fortune.

so if Floyd doesn't fight Canelo (which he most likely will), how does the excuse Canelo for not fighting Trout?

Smart move in regard to the business side of boxing. Good power play.

People will hate, but it doesn't change the fact that it is a smart move.

I wasn't talking about Canelo's competition level (or lack thereof) at all.

The topic of conversation was you saying Floyd would fight Canelo, which is pretty doubtful at this stage. You in the past have also said Floyd would fight (and even beat) Martinez; the Canelo situation is already starting to look like a redux of that.

Most people think Floyd would be too much for Alvarez anyway, but it doesn't look good that he passes up his biggest available payday to fight Guerrero for less money.

ya I think Floyd would prefer to stay at 147 tbh, but I don't think he's afraid to fight Canelo at all.

Canelo hasn't even be a viable option for Floyd to fight until recently. Floyd was considering fighting him back in May, but he stated that Canelo was too green and picked Cotto. Since then, the only thing that has happened is Floyd went to jail and Canelo beat Mosley and Lopez.
Canelo is the best option currently for Floyd mostly because he doesn't really have many options.

I think Floyd is just facing Guerrero in May as a tuneup and to get him ready after he claims he lost 15 pounds in jail and a year layoff. Plus it also allows Canelo to get a real win against a 154 pounder
