Canelo Update: Fight with Trout in May, Guaranteed Floyd in Sept

i looked at canelo's box rec the other day,

its laughable...matthew hatton for the wbc, thats a joke.

I personally think Canelo struggles with Trout. Hopefully it comes off.

both ring and boxrec dont have archives for their november 2011 top ten but cintron was on neither as he had not fought at 154 in his last two fights and was coming off losses to williams and molina, the former seeing him literally jump out of a ring.

both gomez and lopez were not ranked at 154 because both their prior multilpe fights were not at 154 nor sanctioned as jmw fights.

i suggest you do a lot less "thinking" and a lot more "listening."

 

i have absolutely no idea why this is so difficult for anyone to comprehend.

if canelo doesnt fight a boxrec.com top ten 154 opponent in his next fight i am fairly certain that the wbc is going to strip him.

and thats why canelo will be fighting a legitimate 154 on may 4.

on most boxing forums for every two people defending canelo there are three that are discrediting him.

if saul fights another non-ranked 154 on may 4 that ratio will go to one out of four if not higher.

 

I like Canelo, but why does he talk like he's running the show?

He should fight and provide the fans with entertaining fights, and build a legacy in doping so, he is not on Mayweathers level and has no right to dismiss opponents publically.

So he has to face a MW or a guy in JMW though he doesn't even belong in either of these divisions but he's not the best fighter now? I'm sorry I said Ward, Floyd is the best fighter now to be touted this damn high.

And people refuse to say he's the best fighter of his time it baffles me. Not another fighter of that time was held to this high standard but Jones may have came the closest.

Me too but Alvarez may not make the distance with even Trout. He just isn't what people make him out to be.

Trout beats Canelo IMO, Canelo is ducking yet again.

He will probably fight Demarco next.

 

Forget Mayweather, Canelo should fight Trout anyway. He has been taking easier fights for a long time now. Just because he's 22 doesn't mean he shouldn't fight the best. Could you imagine Tyson saying that he wanted to wait before he matured before he won his world title at 20? Would never happen. If you can fight for a world title and fight the best of the best at a young age, why would you not do it? Get in, get out of the game as young as possible, all while making a enough money to live comfortably off for the rest of your life. Boxers are mollycoddled these days, it's crazy! Not just boxers, but sports people in general are treated like precious jewels that should be treasured. GTFO, you should feel fortunate to be in a position where you're privileged enough to earn the kind of money in one fight, that most people will never see in their lifetime.
