Very fancy way of saying he'll run for his life and flick the odd shot out then claim a masterclass ala galahad
Well Galahad should have got the decision against Warrington. Stick to your strengths I say. If Saunders does he negates alot of Canelos best assets. If he changed his style and went at Canelo on front foot or spends most of the fight at mid range he gets stopped imo.
What's the point though? He'll never get a decision doing that will he? So it's not really one I want to see. We know the result already.
Absolutely mate and no point any of the PPV mugths wasting £24.99 on this fight. PED Canelo has every angle covered inside and outside the ring - BJS would have to knock him clean out for a full 60 secs before being declared the winner.
We know the result already because one's a guy who can do 24 rounds with Golovkin and never wobble whilst also ironing out the likes of Kovalev, and the other is a bloke who barely beats the likes of Akavov.
Slither v Canelo is best fightbinnthe division. If there is no weight clause Smith will win fight if not fiddled. Best fight the world this year me. Callum Smith fights to level of opponents. I believe a fired up Callum Smith has another couple of levels to go up and he will need to if he wants to beat Canelo.
@lencoreastside has posted about the limitations of 'Plank Smith' for years and I seen exactly what he was on about when Ryder beat Smith but robbed by the Matchroom Z Factor Judges. A piece of long timber waiting to be chopped down by an elite fighter.
Let’s just hope this pairing falls through, Billy Saunders v Alvarez has the appeal of cold porridge. Based on 2 wins over nondescripts for a fake belt, can’t blame Billy for pushing for 12 million. If Alvarez is looking for historic wins, to enhance his reputation, Saunders, doesn’t qualify. I’d prefer him going in “clean” with an ageing Golovkin. He might actually score a legitimate win at long last.
Groves was finished with the career ending shoulder injury in the Eubanks Jnr fight and only turned up for the final to fight Smith for his final bag of PPV loot. Ryder is the only half decent opponent Smith has faced and boy was he exposed time and again. An icing awaits once he faces the elite.
Literally have no idea what to think of Smith. Looked good against Groves but he was probably done, groves came out and said people will never realise what it took to make that fight....He still very big at the weight though and has looked powerful at times.
