I thought Groves was winning too up until he got cracked round the top/back of the head

There is a reason he has been protected for most of his career. They lucked out in the WBSS, fought a kickboxer and a Groves who was glued together David Haye style. Smith get battered of he dares step up in class.

He's only 29, same age as Smith and Charlo, only a few younger than him in the top 10 in MW / SMW. People forget Canelo's age because he's been pro so long now.

Great money fight for Bjs. I don’t give him much of a chance to win. Would of much sooner seen Saunders vs Smith. Then the winner gets in the queue.

5 pro fights, on record, before his 16th birthday, the bloke has been a professional boxer for half of his life.

I admire him greatly, but similar to Linares and Rungvisai, he’s got an awful lot of mileage on the clock.

Rungvisai, in particular, is one I have a hell of a lot of respect for after the way he bounced back from a dodgy start to his career that would have turned many away from the sport.

He still looks fresh though and seems to still be improving. His peak has a few more years to go.

I thought so to, but it looked like Smith had him hurt just a few rounds earlier. Groves didn’t look like he could do likewise and was only a matter of time before Smith finished the job.

If he knocked him out for 60 secs he would be disqualified, as i am sure they would argue the toss the count is only for 10!!!

I think Billy is the toughest fight out there for Canelo at MW and SMW, being a world class, slick southpaw who can reach elite level on his day.

My prediction all along has been a controversial decision win for Canelo. Billy will come out of the fight with his reputation very much enhanced and there will be calls for a rematch.

Why can he reach ELITE on his day? Because he beat lemieux? What is this based on?
