Hi guys. I have a feeling this could be a kind of cherry pick gone wrong, Canelo wont lose but his stock drops I think..Really weird fight to make, like Ward choosing Paul smith, I suppose Fielding has a belt though, but this could damage Alvarez..Thoughts on this guys, am I on my own ??

    My pleasure old bean :)

My opinion is that Canelo is going to beat Fielding to a pulp and Rocky will be lucky to see the final bell.

Rocky is levels and levels behind somebody like Canelo. He’s not a proper world champion and wouldnt touch any of the current SMW champions despite it being a poor division.

Against a marauding Callum Smith early, that's no big deal. That being said the Rebrasse fight worries me, but maybe he came back too soon. But since then he's stood up to punches from Zeuge and Ryder who can crack, I don't think its as bad as we both previously thought. And who knows if Canelo will carry his minimal pop up to SMW, there are a few variables that make this match a little interesting.

I think it could possibly be like Sturm vs. De La Hoya. We will see.

He should last more than the smith fight, but it will crack in the end. Fielding is very easy to hit aswell. But hopefully he can land a big one on canelo and put him to sleep early before the class sets in.

I'd love to see Rocky come in and take the Fury approach and keep Canelo behind his jab throughout, he has the reach to pull it off, and he showed flashes of being capable of doing that against Tyron and The Gorilla... but ultimately I think Rocky's boxing IQ isn't all that high and he has a hard time sticking to the script. He's no Gvozdyk.

you can say that again, hes no fury either. i thought ryder beat him, Rebrasse beat the hell out of him, and got robbed.
I dont think he much footwork, canelo is very elusive, hes going to catch the jabs and counter it all night. Hes also a little roided hulk, hes short but hes going to look like a tree trunk stump in there.

Agree. I personally think that Canelo hits pretty hard but combine that with his speed and timing and Rocky is going to have a torrid time. What you're saying makes much sense: pop him with the jab at range, make Canelo come to him and then maul him up close. Would be nice to see Fielding lump Canelo up but I have a horrible feeling its going to be a massacre.
