Canelo V.S. Mayweather: Name 3 Major Factors

    for why you think Mayweather/Canelo will win the fight.


    Mayweather 8-4 UD
    1. Stamina: Canelo will have to be in the best shape of his life in this fight. True part of his style is to fight in bursts, but if there is one weakness in Canelo its his stamina. I think the periods of inactivity will play in Floyds game allowing him to think and time you will be a mistake.

    2. Catchweight: I actually dont think the extra 2 pounds will play a huge role in the fight, however we simply wont know until the fight. Losing an extra 2 pounds certainly wont help his stamina.

    3. Ring IQ/Experience: I think Canelo is a very mature fighter, I predict he will hold his own. Canelo is skilled and smart enough to not get totally outclassed like Guerrero, but the gap in experience and ring iq is too high IMO. I think Mayweather figures him out in the middle rounds, and boxes to competitive but clear Mayweather victory.

    To catch Floyd, Canelo has to be as fast as him but the latter isn't fast enough.

    Mayweather is far more skilled, quicker and has better stamina. I'm picking Floyd by wide UD or possible late stoppage.
