    One of the reasons Canelo looked so good against Angulo is;

    1. Angulo is a straight ahead flat footed brawler.
    2. Angulo never had a very good jab
    3. Angulo never recovered from the beating he took from Lara

    Because of the above, Angulo was a made-to-order opponent for Canelo in which Canelo could showcase all of his skills.
    Canelo has problems with slick boxers like Mayweather who have great footwork, fast hands, and great defence.

    Lara is no Mayweather, but as seen in his fight against Angulo, he does have great footwork, fast hands, and a very good, accurate and powerful left hand.
    His jab is A level and he can fight offensively on the back foot. He shots that straight left with great accuracy and with good power and timing catching his opponent on their blind side. He gets good leverage into that punch and it certainly has impact when it connects.
    I rate Lara's ring generalship maybe half a level below Mayweather, but I think he has more power in his straight left than mayweather's straight right.

    Lara does have a bad habit of pulling away with his hands down and chin up, which is how Angulo caught him and knocked him down twice in their fight. I don't think lara was really hurt in either instance, and that shows that he has a good chin and mostly went down from the force of the blow adding to his backward momentum.

    Since Lara was ringside, I'm sure he's looking forward to meeting Canelo in the ring in the near future.
    I think that if they meet, Lara has a 60-70% chance of defeating Canelo by MD or possibly TKO on cuts.

    Angulo is slower than a turtle, in fact, Angulo ran a race with a turtle and lost, he also lost to a snail................Alvarez would knock Lara out...........

    Well, if Canelo did fight Lara it would be a different fight that last night.
    That fight would see Canelo as the aggressor with Lara showing lots of ring movement as Mayweather hoping to setup counters as Canelo moves forward.

    You may be right and Lara could be caught and hurt if Canelo times him. But, if Canelo fails to hurt Lara and knock him out, I wouldn't be surprised to see lara win by MD or possibly UD.
