Respectable numbers for a crap fight. Canelo is still a big draw.

A cash cow can generate a million pay per views against no body, he doesn't need a dance partner

For a fight against someone not very well known, in fight that was largely seen as a one sided foregone conclusion, taking place in Mexico, and with streaming undoubtedly killing ppv numbers, I don't think this number is that horrible, in context.

    But it's certainly not good.

DAZN USA is profitable with Boxing

Only fighter I know of that is Mike Tyson.

Floyd even needed someone to hit a million.

It's quite disheartening to see people taking a baseless rumor so seriously that they discuss about it for many pages. Glaser is a joke.

It wasn't a PPV type of fight

Ryder is a good fighter but no one knows him outside of hardcore/religious boxing fans...it was a miscalculation by the promoter thinking the Brits would buy more.

The key to PPV is a fighter who transcends the sport to casuals, a similar opponent who seems to have a chance at victory, marketing of the event. This match was a DAZN non PPV fight that should have been used to build Canelos appeal.

I think people paid multiple times for a previous fight and they didn't get a refund jut a free code

PPV stars are hard to come by. Pretty sure Canelo is doing just fine in his mansion
