A fighter coming off a loss, facing a relatively unknown(to casuals) fighter also coming off a loss.

Promoters are taking a gamble. Who the hell is going to pay for this:think

They are both known to Mexicans, and people who follow Mexican fighters though. While it wont draw huge numbers I think it will be decent, and do better than Bradley-JMM just because GBP is putting together a sound card overall. Also the pricing will matter.

Canelo is young, it wont hurt him a bit to not draw huge numbers...he is looking to build up, not cash out. The biggest danger for him is actually losing the fight.

He's still a cash cow for GBP. Not Money or Pac numbers, as he's not that level of fighter but he's going to be built back up. They will manage and promote him correctly. Canelo, just needs to do his part and win. GBP, wants to make him appeal to more then just Mexican audiences. If he's matched correctly everybody is making money, and another title fight will be around the corner.

He is no bum people are massively underrating Canelo here yes he did **** vs Floyd but no way was that Canelo at his best he looked caught in headlights to me. As for loosing to Matthew no way wasn't even a close win he dominated Hatton you mug even Matthew accepted the loss.

Who's fighting on the undercard? If it's decent he should do around 500K in buys.

    Hatton won 1 or 2 rounds top:lol:

Typical example of ******* penchant for silly hyperbole.

Well, if it does more than Pacquiao vs. Rios that will be interesting in the "cash cow rankings."

This is definitely a serious test and one they could have done without considering the risk Angulo provides.
