Youve got to believe Canelo if he says he wants a fighter at this point whether you like him or not. I think both fights will happen

Styles make fights, and Canelo would do better against Beterbiev than Bivol. Canelo feeds on come-forward fighters, and Beterbiev is slow with poor defense. He'd light Beterbiev up.

I'd even give Canelo a chance at winning by stoppage, given Beterbiev's chin isn't the greatest.

    RESPECT to Canelo.
I don’t think he is built for 175 but both fights would be exciting to watch.

His list of victims of late has been so-so
I like these fights and they show Big Red is still eager to do more after a few dud fights.

Canelo going to be HOF worthy if he takes either of these two out IMO

Given that Clenelo opponents if they are not enough small for the King, should be enough old and look bad in their last fights.
Plus ofc hometown fights, clauses and shenganian reality.

Canelo is already a shoo-in for the HoF. Being the face of boxing for more than half a decade, and capturing all the titles he has pretty much locks you in.

I'd give him a lot of respect if he fought Beterbiev who is a terrible style matchup for him.

He should fight vs Plant if he wish to be undisputed at 168 lbs, ofc there might be problems to put him on short training camp and clauses.

Agreed. Canelo is ALREADY a first-ballot HOFer. Being undisputed at SMW, which has never been done before, would his legacy even further. Anything after that would just be icing on the cake.

I agree. It sucks that some of these fighters will be older, but should Canelo move up right up to face the top dogs at LHW, people would undoubtedly be crying about how Canelo ducked a Plant or a Benavidez.

You simply can't please them all.

Most people are happy with Canelo's career. He's brought some great events to boxing and had helped boxing stay relevant amongst the casual fan.

It's his haters who are not happy.

Funny thing is that most of his haters don't hold their favorite fighters to the same standards they hold Canelo.

    Casual brainwashed Canelo fan.

If Canelo had achieved the same as Usyk, he had get respect from me: to become an undisputed in division and to get also The Ring belt while fighting on foreign soil in 7 world title fights and do successful undisputed status defense on foreign soil.
I don't rate him as ATG and one fight he had barely won, if he had get there any really biased judge's card, he never had been undisputed.

At all he had been tested and had fought in multiple foreign countries being even hated by ppl like you.

While Canelo did not had 1 single marquee fight outside of US and being tested in country not called US.

More than this: fan kids like you demand respect for lad who had cherry picked 36 y.o Floyd Jr, did not had fought Der, then marinated GGG fight and beated for MW title bulked up WW in Khan, congratulations, then next marquee fight: short notice shot to pieces vodkaKov after Yarde fight.
Cleneloweight, clauses and cherry picking, hometown fighting and this is your " Idol ".
    Congratulations.

I value Canelo lesser than I value Tabiti for example and this will remain what this is.
Until he will beat Plant with fair rules and decent term for pre fight camp, no dumb clauses there etc casual Canelo thing.

Canelo also is not DLH for sure, he does not knows this. He is not Floyd.
Don't **** on Golden Boy who had made you rich and famous.

Canelo isn't a mover, he's generally looking to slip and counter in the pocket. Being the smaller man he'll have to spend most of the fight in Beterbiev's wheelhouse which is a very dangerous place to be.
