Tbh, I like the fight. I want to see how he handles a man that much larger than him.

I doubt Jack can make 185, that’s 15 pounds below 200. Not sure the WBC would sign off on that anyway.

I can see 195, even 190 would be a bit much.

Yes, I'd prefer he fight Benevidez as well.

He would be a very slight favourite.

My second choice would be Bivol who would beat him.

Badou would probably beat him as well.

Them Saudies started some new company and are making a big push to bring big time boxing over there. So of course they are trying to get Canelo.
Plus Hearn has done plenty of business with them. Not really shocking that it´s being proposed.

    Good fight actually. Bivol>Benavidez>Beterbiev>Jack.

    Would love to see it.

As a boxing fan I am greedy.

I dont care who hosts the fights I just want to be done with the politics, protectionism and BS from fighters and their promoters.

Kudo's to you, you really do understand todays boxing. He'd be selling it for the most money he's ever made . Can't blame him

It´s such a disrespectful thing to say. Jack always comes fully prepared and fights his heart out.

185 cm against 173. True, not a huge reach advantage for Jack, but for the size of Canelo, weighing a cruiser and being that shorter - this will be a comical mismatch in a way. It is true he fought others with similar height and even won, but it was at light heavy.

I don't think it will happen but lets see what the odds will be. You think Jack can win a decision?

So he ducks Beterbiev, even Bivol, to fight at cruiser? How strange.
Maybe it's because Jack was a career 168lb fighter, a big one, but still.
Just more games to get fake 'moving up' credit.

In what is now his backyard? Yes.
The Bivol cards were kinda BS. 5 rounds for Canelo was a bit of a stretch.
But the scorecards for Golovkin III, Plant, Saunders, Kovalev and Jacobs were pretty accurate. (few judges there had it too wide)

Besides that, I highly doubt Jack would go in there with the mindset of just loosing.

I had a different theory. It was no coincidence that Jack's fight was the chief support for Tommy fury v Jake Paul. As soon as the WBC announced the winner would receive a ranking and given the connection Badou jack has to Paul's camp, the stage was set for jake to fight Badou if he'd gotten past Fury. Thankfully Tommy fury put an end to that... Despite the judges best efforts.

And you immediately jump to "CANELO IS DUCKING!" Canelo has been moaning about wanting that Bivol rematch for nearly a year, and it likely will happen as they are negotiating.
