I got no problem with that, I got faves too, and I defend them when I feel they’re getting a raw deal. But I try to keep my emotions out of it, if they deserve criticism, then they deserve criticism.
Stupid cuck Isal... "I have not ONCE seen any Canelo fan claim he was the best..." Dumbass incel doesn't remember the posts after canelo beat Kov saying he beat the #1 LtHW. And that was his lil boyz group saying it.
The argument can surely be made. Kovalev still has far and away the best resume at LHW, and was coming off two very good wins in Eleider Alvarez and Yarde. I’d slightly favour Beterbiev over this version of Sergey, but certainly wouldn’t put money on it.
That’s my whole problem with many of these emotional posters. Before the fight, kovalev was going to wreck canelo, after the fight, canelo knew kovalev was washed up and that’s why he took the fight. Now ask them if that means they dksab compared to canelo and see what their response is.
Do you really need me to post each LtHW champion's status and accomplishments?? No Lance.. if you can't see why Kovalev was the true reigning champ at LtHW I can't help you much. Bivol, Beterbiev, nor Kovalev had fought each other so the only way to rate them is by resume. Canelo beating Kovalev doesn't make him the top LtHW because he doesn't have the resume there. Hope that helps your simple mind.
You said it, most hate filled post towards fighters are driven by raw emotion. They will never be able to fairly judge a fighter accomplishments especially if he's beaten their boy.
As in every fight I watch all I want to see is the better man on the night getting the win he deserves. If Canelo LEGITIMATELY beat Beterbiev, or anyone else for that matter, I'd congratulate him & call him champ. I said exactly the same thing before May/Pac & GGG Ginger 1&2 but sadly Floyd nor Canelo earned a LEGITIMATE win OK ??
To be fair, nobody really knew about the rehydration clause, it only came out a day or two before the fight.
And in your estimation, what we’re the consequences of this rehydration clause? Cause I’ve never altered my pick because of one and I’m not aware of any pro in the boxing world who has. But I don’t follow all boxing related content so I may be unaware of those who have.
I don't know if it altered the odds or not, Canelo was already a pretty big favorite, so it's hard to switch a pick on this one. For me personally, went from a gut feeling Canelo would win to pretty sure he would.
That’s reasonable. I think lots of people make way too much out of it. In all the times I’ve been aware of it happening, I don’t recall it ever being a real issue. Sure fans constantly throw it out there as an excuse, but there isn’t anything fans won’t throw out as an excuse when their boy gets whooped.
