You must hate Canelo a lot for even suggesting he get in the ring with Beterbiev. Bivol smacked him around like a little boy; AB would demolish him.

Not. I don't hate Canelo. He fought his only two LHW fights with mixed success (Sergey Kovalev and Dmitrii Bivol), so I wonder what would happen in a fight with a third champion? And I agree with you about the outcome of the fight.
Beterbiev has no chin and no one saw him in a ring against a well established worthy fighter other than Gvozdyk. I think Beterbiev wins this but would not be surprised by either results. Beterbiev ain't THAT good. He got rocked by Yarde who is basically a journeyman with good skills and power. Canelo is surely better than Yarde. If that fight happens I can't wait to see odds. For fun, if Canelo is just slightly underdog, I would put my money on him. Not a huge amount though.
I agree with almost everything you wrote. I just think the LHW division is too much for Canelo. He can wrestle successfully in the SMW division, but with variable success in the LHW division. I would not favor Canelo in fights (in the LHW category) against: prime Gvozdyk, prime Beterbiev, prime Bivol...
I voted Beterbiev but he is in another discussion against Prime RJJ. These guys has to be kidding. The promotional propaganda for Beterbiev is running at full speed here.
I'll go against the grain and say AB loses a close one in a stylistic match up very different to that of Bivol vs Clen.
