Canelo has been avoiding big punchers like Artur and Benvanidez. He only fights guys generally who cant punch. He was VERY reluctant to fight GGG

    eventually all the great Fighters
    who constantly test themselves do.
    It’s inevitable… nothing is forever.

If Beterbiev signifcantly declines then I can see it happening, yes.

However, even the Browne version violently assaults Canelo. Just too powerful.

Plus Canelo doesn't live a clean life like people think. He drinks and parties.
He also does high impact training and as he moves further up he will have to maintain that strength programme to remain competitive in terms of explosive output.

Canelo is an ATG but everyone has a ceiling.

Name one active boxer that’s fought more punchers than Canelo

"Canelo is waiting for Beterbiev to get old!".

As if it's Canelo's fault that Beterbiev stayed in the pros too long (Didn't go pro until he was 28) and has been badly mismanaged.

Obviously not. But can you at least agree Canelo COULD have fought him after beating the shell of Kovalev at LtHW?? Was beating a shot Kov an example of the oft over-used "Moved up for a challenge" that noobies have bought in to??

A lot of people are saying that Canelo struggled against Golovkin, so Beterbiev would destroy him.

Except for the fact that Beterbiev is nowhere near as skilled as Golovkin.

I guess? I'm not gonna hold it against Canelo for beating a weak titlist at a weight class he had no business being in.

Why do you say he had no business? Because he's short?? Canelo's stocky and thick as a mofo. If canelo had no business, then he should have never ventures. This is why title hopping is such a **** show. Hell...after the Kov fight, Most of the annoying canelo fans were claiming he just beat the top LtHW. Of course, now they'll deny any of that.

Canelo is better but he eats a lot of shots that he thinks won’t affect win. It’s worked for him so far but he can’t get away against Biev. Canelo would be shocked to see how much power is in every one of Beterbievs punches. It’s insane how heavy handed the guy is, even win he’s setting up shots, those pitty pats already have his opponents looking terrified.

Canelo won't go anywhere near Beterbiev after Bivol puts him in his place.
