As I always do for the big fights, I’ve had a day of studying the most recent performances for the 2 fighters in the ring tomorrow night, Canelo & Bivol. When the fight first got announced I was actually thinking it may be a step too far for Canelo but then the more I thought about it I started to think it’s another one where he’ll have some problems early but then he’ll get the job done. After watching them in action again today I’m much more confident of a Canelo late stoppage. Bivol has fast hands, fast feet and brilliant boxing skills which will definitely cause Canelo problems but he’s a small light-heavyweight and I don’t think he has the size, power or strength to keep Canelo off. It’s gonna be another fight similar to the Plant one. Canelo has the best momentum in the sport right now and Bivol has been a bit lacklustre in his last 2, compared to what we used to see from him, especially when he first emerged. Canelo round 10 is my official pick. Let me know yours
I agree, Canelo by KO, between rounds 8-11. Bivol looked hopeless and dull at yesterday's press event. Something fishy is going on. @Quina74 may be right.
