Canelo by UD for me. Based on nothing more than the only Bivol fight I've seen is the Richards fight, and the fact that Bivol hasn't stopped anyone in a while so that rules out a Bivol stoppage.

Uh, let's see, I would say..... if it goes to the cards Canelo will win. Just this feeling i have.

 

Bivol is very good but Canelo is an ATG. Gotta back the ATG in this fight even if he is going up in weight. Bivol also does not hit hard enough for the weight jump to matter. If this was a prime Beterbiev we wouldn't know how Canelo would react to the power but he'll take Bivol's shots no problem.

 

If it’s not a prepaid sparring session then I see Bivol winning a clear UD but with the decision gifted to Canelo.

 

Bivol is not that good. He didn't face any good opposition at all. He doesn't know how to attack to the body, and he doesn't know how to defense his own body.

Canelo easily dismantles him by body shots and knocks him out before round 9. I expect the knock out by a liver shot.

Very easy win for Canelo.

I don't massively rate Bivol but he's good enough strong enough and young enough to make the size difference work for him.

I see it being very tight, a 7-5 type score with Bivol edging it based on throwing and landing more with Canelo with the flashier shots.--- not sure what happens on the official cards in this situation though!

If Canelo KOs him Kovalev style I'm calling bull**** straight away.

Canelo by competitive, maybe even controversial decision. I think Bivol has the style to really trouble Canelo, he jabs and anticipates counters expertly. But he's never faced anyone on Canelo's level and Canelo will probably land the more eye-catching shots. In fact I wouldn't rule out Canelo landing something big in the second half of the fight but as a fan I'll give Bivol the benefit of the doubt. I think it goes 12 and Canelo gets the benefit of the doubt in close rounds. I would love to see Bivol in 2nd gear.
