@MarkusFlorez99 @Liquorice Let's sort out Bivol first. After Canelo knocks out Bivol, you will respect him more.

It will still be a gifted decision if Canelo knocks out Bivol?

It's a good thing that you started to accept Canelo will beat Bivol, although you're saying you still won't respect him.

I'm getting if Canelo beats Usyk, you will again say "he won because he was on roids" or "judges favored him". Excuses, excuses...

So is it the nuts or the teeth if Bivol gets the "W"? Or both? Also, what platform do you intend to livestream on should the unthinkable occur? Must make sure I have it installed and working. I mean I'm picking Alvarez by stoppage late, but that could be a bad omen. My record is not exemplary. :yikes:

Bivol has no chance. Scorecards are already filled out.

No hydration clause based on what Hearn said a few weeks ago, but that could've changed

With a 117-111 card in favour of Canelo thrown in for good measure.

That could've changed? How could that have changed? It's either in the contract or it's not. Hearn confirmed yet again at the weigh that there's no rehydration limit.

I just think Bivol pulls it off. He has the movement and length. I also believe he has enough power to keep Canelo honest. Add in the fact he is very astute at keeping his distance.

I'm leaning towards Bivol as well, but I keep going back and forth on this in my mind. Canelo could very well be biting off more than he can chew here. The thing about Bivol is he's very difficult to land power punches on, which is Canelo's specialty. Targetting Bivol's body won't be easy either because he moves so well, and knows how to turn to avoid shots. But targeting the body in the early rounds would be smart for Canelo. Another interesting part of this is Canelo's jab. Will Canelo be able to jab Bivol effective through Bivol's high guard. Maybe Canelo should try landing jabs to Bivol's chest rather than trying to head hunt. This is a big difficult puzzle for Canelo, he's never dealt with anyone like this and he could get outpointed. Bivol's elusive, has a strong guard. Canelo's elusive too but Bivol is the Champ and I'll probably be up to Canelo to make the fight, rather than Bivol who would be content moving away and using his size. Canelo coming in heavier will probably be slower.

What Canelo has to do here is make it a dogfight, either try and pin Bivol on the ropes or fight him like he fought GGG 2 and stay in his face all night in the pocket and try to wear Bivol down and win over the judges by being the aggressor and landing the heavier shots. He has to also of course give Bivol head movement, keep a tight guard and don't let Bivol potshot him or land flashy shots on him, which is he capable of doing.

I could see a Bivol UD with Canelo just not landing enough punches and getting potshoted but could also see him closing the distance in the 2nd half of the fight and roughing Bivol up in the later rounds. We'll see, even in a losing effort, Canelo could gain a lot of respect here by just trying to have a war with Bivol. Even if Canelo takes an L in a close decision, Canelo still would have a lot going for him, with an Undisputed SMW Title match with GGG on the horizon. The main thing is just seeing these guys put on a classic. If Bivol wins, it could create a lot of drama and excitement in the sport and wouldn't hurt Canelo much in a P4P sense. I wonder if Canelo would stay P4P #1 even if he loses a close one but gives an impressive fan friendly performance.
