    Plant's boxing ability will make it interesting for a bit, of course he'd have to score a KO to win . He's probably a realistically 15 to 1 underdog

    Oscar and canelo would never fight plant straight up just like they won’t fight callum Smith. Plant is a bad matchup for canelo.

    Surprised people don’t think plant will outbox canelo on the Backfoot here maybe. I like canelo but going forward and being able to land well has always been canelos biggest problem and plant in my eyes is canelos worst nightmare

    I've heard Team Clenelo have made 'offers' and been in talks with Callum Smith's, BJS 2.0's, and Caleb Plant's people but David ''El Bandera Roja'' Benavidez's name has been strangely absent.

    Smith is coming off a terrible robbery against Juan Ryder, Plant's only half decent win just got beaten by Lionell Thompson, and a completely disinterested under the weather BJS 2.0 was losing his last fight to some fighter from the Pampas that nobody had ever heard of even over in the Pampas prior to BJS 2.0 finally awakening from his stupor and turning on the gypsy power when he needed to bail himself out of trouble.

    Clenelo's flagrant ducking of Beterbiev and Bivol was shameless enough, albeit not quite as shameless as his ducking of prime GGG or dragging Shotalev's corpse from the drunk tank/graveyard, but why no mention of bambino El Bandera Roja's name?

    Canelo on points, if it happens. Given 2 May is only around 10 weeks from Plant's fight tonight, I can't imagine Plant will be willing to fight again so quickly though.

    So this would be another opponent with a quick turnaround and about a 5 week camp? This is seriously fair to face an opponent of Canelo's stature?
