    This fight has come probably a year too late for Smith who is now absolutely flogged at the weight. Anyone thinking that Alvarez won't make the most of a rehydration clause is being naïve.
    Shame for Callum who has spent years being an exciting prospect but maybe should have taken a risk or two earlier in his career. I see a painful stoppage win for Alvarez here but Smith gets enough of a payday to take care of him and his family forever.

    Callum Smith is the 168 Champion 6'03" in his prime, defending the title & staying in perfect weight for most his career.

    If he can't beat the 5'07" Bulked up Welter then Callum Smith should not be a World Champion, a decent 6'03" SMW Champion should easily KO Canelo, hydration should not be an issue, a world champion should be able to make weight easily.

    Canelo has to stop pulling this ****. In the eyes of most boxing fans it doesn't elevate his status. On the contrary, it lowers it. He's turned his career into a circus, carefully watching for when an opponent is most vulnerable instead of fighting them in their prime. He obviously lacks confidence in his abilities or he would be fighting Benavidez or Beterbiev, not a shot Kovalev or old GGG.

    Beterbiev would club him en route to a mercy stoppage. Hits way too hard and is not going to be bothered by a rehydration clause as he has been IBF champ for a few years now. Also always in the gym, never fat and always in excellent shape year around.

    Total nightmare for Canelo.....poor Canary would be stopped violently.
