03:20 Referring to Charlo : "this is an opportunity you simply can't turn down"...his brother did, didn't he? Canelo should be fighting Benevidz.

canelo is a blown up welter on peds. Benny is a moster. i doubt it happens. Especially since crawford is right around the corner.

Benny is not a monster lol

Benavidez is like every other "big" PBC name in that his best skill is cutting weight. Both Charlos, Spence, Tank, etc. The best thing they do is cut weight, not box.

He probably should be. Nobody likes this but, the Charlo fight has actually been on the cooktop back burner for way longer and whether you like it or not Charlo is more high profile than a David Benavides regardless of who you believe is better. So the business of boxing probably mandates this one 1st, AL has to get as much as he can out of this Canelo partnership and convince him to stick around for another contract. Besides EVERYONE wants to fight Canelo, hell I do too lol.

Doubt it will be as easy as you think. Jermell Charlo is an undisputed champion for a reason in my opinion. While Canelo is rightly the favourite you need to factor in Jermell’s athleticism.

Honestly Olu, I don't think it will factor in all too much. But we'll know soon enough. Enjoy!

We shall soon find out as you say. I have always loved Canelo since I saw him fight live in Las Vegas in 2013 however and I could be wrong but I think I have seen signs he could be slipping combined with Charlo an undisputed champion being slightly underrated in this match up.

If Charlo had a better feint game, I'd fancy his chances a good deal more, but I think he will prove to be a bit too basic with his approach. Charlo has outstanding timing, and that alone helps him find openings, but he's not very creative when it comes to maneuvering his opponent around to his liking.

Back to your first point, I think Charlo is overly reliant on his athleticism, where a bit more nuance would go a long way.

Looking forward to it, though. And I've been wrong plenty of times, and will no doubt be wrong again. But I don't think I'm wrong on this one.
