Don't be stupid. Of course they'd fight canelo if it was there for them. Anyone at or near canelo's weight class will entertain the offer to face him.

SMH. Does anyone seriously believe Chavez Jr can even make it to 165 anymore?

And if 155 is the Caneloweight class, does this make 165 the SuperCaneloweight class?

GBP will look for anything that allows them to avoid 3G. Without shame too.

Don't be stupid, it's clear as day he doesn't want to fight GGG yet. GBP made a offer he didn't like it. Yet he's still chasing him. Remind me me of what Ward did he was clearly the king at 168. Offered a fight to GGG, they declined for whatever reason. So Ward moved up and challenged himself.. boy oh boy that was real hard for Ward to do. Talks aren't going well with the person you want to fight, and you've cleaned out the division. Guess what you do you move up and challenge yourself something he refuses to do. By all means he's more than welcome to stay at 160, don't drag 147 or smaller guys in general up to your weight class and call yourself P4P king. Go ahead make excuses for it, I'll wait

It will be interesting to see if there'll be any rehydration clause stipulated in the contract.

I think that would be a terrific fight and would easily sell out the AT&T stadium in Dallas. I don't see why anyone would have a problem with it since it doesn't interfere scheduling-wise with the proposed Golovkin fight.

Who gives a f*ck what Ward did. These are different scenarios with different reasons for being where they are. I know GBP doesn't want 3G, that wasn't the point i was replying to. YOU SAID 3G only wanted canelo's belt, not canelo. I replied saying that's not true that they'd fight Canelo if they can come to terms. Then you reply with some crap about Ward this ward that. Try to stay on point if you can. It's just a nonesensical rant about challenging yourself.

He fought one guy who was a WW. And that came at the last minute. Now you and some other idiots keep talking about facing WW's. Good grief....everything is set to ten with posters like you. All hyperbole and no ability to get in the grey of things.

I like this fight but the weight is going to be an issue. The better the weight and rehydration clauses for Chavez the better the fight.

Alvarez is a superior fighter to Chavez but Chavez is a bigger, stronger, more durable guy. I think Alvarez beats him but Chavez, who's pretty experienced himself by now, puts up a respectable and entertaining effort.

Obviously this looks bad on Alvarez after saying he needs time to ease into 160 for Golovkin and then jumps up to the mid 160s for this fight(if it happens).

First everyone knows Alvarez is delaying the Golovkin fight at best or avoiding him altogether at worst so a possible Chavez fight at super middleweight is no surprise. Second, in Alvarez's defense, facing Golovkin and facing Chavez are two completely different worlds.

Golovkin is a on a whole different level than Chavez and getting acclimated to 160 to face him makes sense on Alvarez's end. Chavez isn't the threat that Golovkin is and Alverz must feel there's not the need to get comfortable at the weight for Chavez like there is for Golovkin.

This is ridiculous, JCC Jr is a undisciplined unskilled joke who has fallen out of the favor in the US, and rightfully so. There are better fights for Canasshole to take then against this ****ing bum at a catchweight that fat **** Jr. can't make while not being zombified.

Exactly. This fight is all about the money. If it makes dollars it makes sense

I'm glad GGG ducked Ward, I don't feel bad that he can't find a fight after ducking the biggest fight for himself at the time. You can't cry your being ducked, when you yourself have ducked. If GGG was smart he would fight any and all it's not like his fights need serious time considering he's not a draw. He should call there bluffs Lara, Andrade etc. Stop spewing that bs, he's being dodged like the plague. He's been called out numerous times the issue is he doesn't call there bluff and he overestimates his value. Just like Ward, Ward should not have gotten 5 mil for the Kov fight.
