Another GBP dog and pony show to keep their manufactured ethnic champion away from Golovkin.

What makes you say Ward was the biggest fight? Ward is not a draw. It would be nothing but a title fight, not some major PPV. Some tend to exaggerate how big 3G v. Ward would be.

First of all, you, and a lot of other idiots, use the word "Duck" too freely. And you idiots use it because he didn't face Ward, someone in a division above him. And this is where you bring up Froch and chavez Jr, like all the other rubes do, since you don't understand the difference.

He's being dodges buy guys in his division. Don't you get that? None of the jrMw's are ranked at MW, and aren't in a position as:
    1. A mandatory challenger
    2. a big money fight

When Lara dopes something more then do a twitter call out, let me know. But I guess with young'uns like you, a twitter call out is the same as offering a contract to fight.

    A few thoughts:

First off this is a joke of a fight.

Second, pretty sure Chavez Jr said after the Fonfara debacle (where he quit) that the lowest he can go is 170 (in his laughable excuse laden post fight interview where he insisted they rematch at 170 instead of 172)

If this does happen and Jr. makes 165 he is liable to rehydrate to 190-195 pounds on fight night

Which brings me to my last point there is no way Oscar doesn't have a ridiculous 'rehydration' clause in the contract.

This fight would be an absolute circus. It is embarrassing how much Canelo is scared of GGG that such a joke of a fight is even a possibility.

Don't know if its been mentioned before, but Box Azteca had his weight at 167.5. On top of that, Jr said he'd be willing to go as low as 164. He's got a chin on him and looked pretty mobile in the Britsch fight. Canelo doesn't exactly hit very hard so this could be a bad idea. Canelo does have some good defense, though. This fight sells for sure.

Quack, quack triple duck, at that time that was the biggest fight for him to move up one division and fight Ward before he left. But your man prefers to feast on bums. Actually I very rarely use the term "duck". Stop being a bias c0ckstain and call a spade a spade. GGG dodged Ward when it mattered. Yeah let's offer Ward a catch weight but no other 168lber take his d!ck out of your mouth wipe the s3men off your face and call a spade a spade. Floyd ducked challenges, Wards about to duck Kov. Atleast I can admit when the guy I like is being a b!tch you can't. That's fine twitter call outs don't count. Well good thing Dre's team sent a contract.

GGG don't call yours P4P #1 and you won't even challenge yourself going up one weight. He had no problem dragging Brook up 2 weight classes lol. You're honestly a joke, completely and utterly bias and keep the rose shaded glasses for GGG. You're not a fan of boxing, you're a fan of GGG d!ck respond to me when that changes lol.

now you're just being a f*ckin idiot. There was no obligation to move to 168 to face the World Champ, none. But if he did, I'd insist on a tune up as well. You know, like how Ward got three tune ups before Kov. You're too stupid and just all over the place with your posts. Take your ritalin or something and try to make sense FFS. Just a stupid post about floyd, ward and semen. Probably your version of a wet dream...

Ward had 3 tuneups for Kovalev? I dont believe that to be true. Ward wasnt commited fully to 175 or HBO and Kovalev at the time he fought Paul Smith. I would hardly even call the Brand fight a tuneup but that would qualify more than the Smith fight IMO.

Very interesting fight. However, the real question is, can Chavez Jr. make 165?.

:risas3: What a couple of jokers.

    What weight?

I'm going to see if I can get odds on Chavez missing any weight.

What if Canelo and Chavez Jr fight at Azteca outdoors? That could fill up 100,000, right?

Ward's deal w/ HBO was based on the promise of meeting Kov at 175, from what I gather. Of course, I could be mistaken.

He fought Smith on BET though. And it was at CW and not at 175 full limit. So I dunno how you can really consider that a tuneup for Kovalev. But I guess if you want to. I dont even really consider Brand a tuneup either. I think that was a moneygrab.

I don't like the fight. There's too much of a weight disparity. A 168 lb fighter shouldn'h have to drain himself to fight at 154 lb-er at 165. It's a good stylistic matchup, but Chavez Jr has had problems making weight in the past and I don't think it's a good preparation for Golovkin for Canelo win lose or draw to fight someone a weight class above Golovkin's. Canelo would be better off rematching Beefy Smith at 154 in the U.K. or defending his title vs a contender at 154 or possibly someone at 160. Frankly, I'd rather see Canelo not fight anybody in May if it guarantees the Golovkin fight in September.
