I am conflicted on how to take this if this is true, immediately you have to know this is a huge money fight out of left field but this could possibly be the biggest fight in boxing commercially.

As far as fight wise it's interesting to say the least Jr is a big boy and a heavy handed fighter, skillwise Alvarez is above him but size is a big thing a 164/5 cw if feasible by Jr could make a great fight of it. A in shape and motivated Jr I could see taking it by eventually overwhelming Nelo, from a fighter perspective I know a certain base will be salty to say the least of it happens but Chavez is conceding money and weight.... That is how you go about it if your REALLY trying to make a big fight a big sturdy guy like Jr while no longer who he once was that might not be a bad thing and in reality is good prep for some of the bigger threats on the horizon at 160 lbs with a rangy guy like Chavez.

Saying that though Charlo, or Saunders would be better and also winnable fights for May, Chavez is the money though so can't blame em.
