    Oscar is once again proposing the idea of a meeting between Mexico's 2 favorite (currently) sons. Although he wants Julio Jr. to come down to 162lbs, for it to happen. If Chavez has months in advance I think he can get down to 162, Maybe.:yep So if it can be arranged who you got and how?

    I have Chavez by late stoppage, I think 5'7 or 5'8 Canelo wouldn't be able to overcome the size and probable weight advantage Chavez would have.
    I think it would end up looking like Cotto Margarito 1. But I'm a fan of both guys, so I don't care who wins.

    Unless they cut one of jrs legs off I can't see him making 162. IF that is the weight they fought at canelo wins a decision

    at 160 id lean towards canelo.. jr is to big to make it comfortably i feel

    Well chavez could only fight him at around 165 minimum in my opinion. and unless tjey fought at something stupid like light heavu then canelo beats him at any weight

    unlikely to happen due to the size disparity, but at an equal, enforced, and reasonable weight, Canleo beats him out of the ring.

    Canelo at 160 would be my pick. It would be a war and i could actually see Chavez being too much to handle in the later rounds.

    Size makes this undoable.

    If it happens at 160 Canelo might win by virtue of the weight. Chavez would be a zombie at 60.

    If Chavez can make 160 or 162 (as ODLH has stated it might take place at) and comes in dedicated, IMO, Chavez Jr. beats Canelo. Too much size for Canelo to handle. There is nothing Canelo can do to Chavez that can hurt him. Chavez chin is proven, Canelo's is still yet to be proven. Canelo has been fighting smaller men than him, Chavez is and will be huge on fight night against Canelo.

    162 is a bit to low for Chavez , if he does come in at 162 then it's a toss up if the fight is made at 165 then Chavez by KO

    I'm a go with Chavez Jr. Canelo's not a monster puncher and Chavez Jr has a badass chin. Plus the size advantage. When Canelo gasses out, Chavez takes over.

    Canelo on points. Jr has high stamina because he only punches 10 punches per round and lands maybe one or 2 significant punches. Canelo is levels above him in every department. Canelo's power isn't very significant when he's boxing, but no one should underestimate his power in a toe to toe battle. It will look like Martinez-Chavez Jr all over again. Canelo is still improving, Jr is an arrogant lazy vaca.

    Just like everyone else is saying pretty much. If Chavez jr has to cut to 162 Canelo would out point him.
