I don't get it. Clottey is a fantastic fighter (the matter of him not having a heart aside) whom no one really holds in much esteem, though they should (his heartlessness aside), so I don't understand why GBP is making this fight. Figures Alvarez would take it, he seems to be willing to fight anyone, but why would Oscar make it? Well, anyway, if Clottey shows up, and doesn't check out when he feels Alvarez's power, this is a very interesting fight. But I can't help feeling Clottey's heart will fail him and us again.
Now why would you say that? His losses are to Pac, Cotto (to whom he gave a great fight) and Margarito with a broken hand. He's got skill, speed and great defense.
Whopppty-doo! Nothing I love more than seeing a fighter do absolutely nothing to get a big paycheck. Since his sparring session with Pacquiao, Clottey has had what, like 2 meaningless fights?
