no, with ggg in their division. the winner fighting ggg will be the better fight.

There is a difference between best fight and biggest fight. Cotto-Canelo is probably the second biggest fight to be made due to the heritage of each fighter and the rivalry involved.

The best fights for boxing are:

    May - Pac
    Kovalev - Stevenson
GGG - Canelo/Cotto/Ward/Froch (all to different degrees)
    Walters - Loma
    Canelo - Cotto
    Wlad - Wilder

I think canelo is one of the most overrated boxers out there. Who has he beaten? he struggled in his last fight didn't he? he looked bad vs floyd, Maidana looked 10 times better.

Canelo is overhyped because he has good looks and has a huge mexican fan base. Hyping him has potential to generate lots of money, just look at the PPVs when he fought Floyd.

Don't get me wrong, he's a good fighter but overhyped. I would rank Thurman, Khan, Bradley, JMM above him.

As far as cotto-canelo, interesting fight. I think cotto wins.

After the Mayweather fight Canelo has been exposed as a hype job. The dude wasn't remotely competitive at all! His image took a dump after all the hype. And it didn't help him fighting a busted Angulo and getting a gift decision vs Lara!

CANELO is the truth doe... Pac will freeze the same way come May 2nd, you will see.

Canelo vs Kirkland is a great fight, a 60/40 type fight imo:bbb

If James puts on his pressure Canelo folds IMO... but if it's a boxing match like Canelo boxed Angulo, he beats up James.

I'll rather see k9 get his chance at Canelo... Red wins but give k9 a chance at a big payday. He is a champion.

Probably the 2nd biggest fight that could be made in terms of PPV buys, doesn't do a lot for me though.

Kirkland is a lot more explosive and has quicker hands .

Im predicting Canelo beats him up .

JK has an unbelievable will to win which has me slightly worried for Canelo .

Canelo chin is also still a question mark , he has not faced a legit puncher yet in his career .

MrPR, if Canelo has NOT koed James by the 7th round. James will break him

    It's a BIG fight, but I don't think it's a GOOD fight.

Alvarez would walk fight through Cotto.
