I didn't say it would be easy for Crawford just that he should be applauded for this attempt and the match shouldn't be disparage.

Certainly we all would rather have Canelo-Crawford than a Canelo-Paul farce.

Honest question: Do you think the judges will allow a Crawford decision should he earn it, now that Canelo has a four fight deal worth a metric ton of money signed?

Remember how close they scored Canelo's loss to Bivol who many ringside and here on the RBR scored wider for Bivol?

Remember the draw card against Mayweather? Byrds card against GGG? I could go on but won't.

Crawford can't knock him out so I don't see a path to victory for him. Hope Crawford wins but expecting him to get wrecked by Canelo and the judges.

Have Turki's cards had any robberies on them? I can't remember any yet. His involvement has seemed to be not as susceptible to corruption so far.

Crawford called Canelo out so I don't think it's right to say Canelo has dragged anybody up 2 divisions. For Canelo it could be an easy nights work and extremely lucrative, why wouldn't he take the fight.

It's hard to see Crawford winning. We have seen smaller fighters moving up and having success. Duran was successful at 37 in a higher division.

The fight is irrelevant outside of entertainment. I suppose Canelo's belts are on the line but I don't see Crawford staying around long if he wins.

They may want to be fair if they want to keep the Saudi money coming though.

    I do hope so
Looking forward to this mega fight!
Canelo slight advantage as he is acclimated the weight division -
I really wish Crawford would fight Scull to see where he is at but I get that would jeopardize the gravy Train!
I’m expecting to see a WAR!!

I give Crawford stylistically a better chance against Canelo than most but I agree with you on this.

It will be virtually impossible for Crawford to win a decision in a competitive fight.

Mayweather and Bivol schooled Canelo and yet still 1 judge had Mayweather/Canelo a draw. And 3 judges had Bivol needing the 12th round otherwise it would've been a draw.

Canelo has consistently had some of the most shameful scorecards out of any big fighter I know of in history.

I agree with the above. Canelo, like the KC Chiefs have the judged and refs in their pockets. They don't want their money makers to lose.

"Impossible" for Crawford to win a decision in a competitive fight? They said the same thing about Bivol, a very competitive fight. Then Bivol won and the narrative became it was a schooling shutdown domination in order to save face for the people who said Bivol couldn't win. Give it a rest. This is a played out, ignorant and boring argument.
You calling those a schooling don't make them a schooling. Both were very competitive fights with a lot of close rounds in each, but in both it was a clear who the winner was.
And one judge had Benavidez beating Morrell 118-108. Judges having unpopular cards is nothing new and happens all the time in boxing.
Because they gave Canelo rounds 1-4 and round 9. That's 5 rounds. Each of those rounds were perfectly good rounds for Canelo. 1-4 were debatable mind you, but not unreasonable to score to Canelo. So Bivol was up 6-5 and won the 12th and won the fight. But keep crying about it.
There's nothing shameful about going the distance against great fighters and seeing some judges disagreeing over some rounds. Canelo has consistently fought top competition and often goes the distance. So naturally when you're in as many close and competitive fights as Canelo has been in, that increases the chances of controversial cards. And Canelo has a unique style, often low output and often being outlanded in rounds but landing the harder shots which creates a judging dilemma.

And all this said, I don't like that you're already trying to detract from Canelo Crawford by making it seem like Crawford can't win on the cards because of what you believe to be some kind of judging conspiracy. Take off your tinfoil hat and understand that bad judges isn't a Canelo problem, it's a boxing problem.
