So he is fighting a 37 year old who he is forcing to go up two weight classes basically three ( but Canelo is small according to his fans that's why he needed time to fight GGG? well that and PEDS that help you lose weight while retaining muscle mass... So why did they not meet at 160? this fight is a joke, fight Benevidez or retire.

"Forcing"? Crawford's the one who proposed it. Cut the crap, you wanna talk about "Forced"? GGG tried to "Force" Canelo to fight him.

Lol no he didn't he got a gift draw, you know just like you claimed would of been acceptable when he was embarrassed by Floyd, hell he could not even beat the brakes off of a 40 year old GGG man such a sad life you must live jerkin off to your Canelo poster in your basement.

Jesus, how things snowball in boxing. It only seems like yesterday when I was watching Matty Hatty drawing hands with Canelo.Time flies!.

Canelos slick hairstyle back then was something else too..he looked like a Teddy Boy...

There was a bit more to it than that, it´s not like they didn´t actually negotiate. Golovkin´s side made some serious financial claims, and being the interim champ would have guaranteed him 45%, if the fight had gone to purse bids.
They also bumped heads over testing, the weight, and even a rematch clause. So the talks fell through.

Not to defend Canelo here, with his catchweight BS and all, but both sides were stubborn. Oscar was loosing his **** when negotiating the eventual rematch. Golovkin´s team knew their worth and made demands accordingly.

I think it´s fair to say that Golovkin likely priced himself out of the first negotiations.

Mandatory challenger splits are determined by the respected organization you can appeal to them to try to change the split but the rules are the rules if 45% was what the rules state then why not? he was interim after all?
It seems like refusing to follow the rules or request an exemption (like Fury did with Whyte) would of made a better argument but Canelo didn't even try instead he dumped his belt.
And as far as testing wasn't that the rematch? ( now knowing that he failed two separate PED tests makes sense that they were wary of it.) and weight yeah that was all Canelo's side wanting a catch weight which they were not entitled for a mandatory fight unless agreed to by both fighters. So no it seems like the roadblocks mostly all came from Canelo's side.

Forcing up? No one is forcing Crawford. No need for added dramatism.

Forcing as he could meet him at a catch weight since you know he is jumping up multiple divisions and supposedly at Canelo is small for 168. but yeah forcing is too strong a word for it I agree. Really this fight is a joke Bud will be 38 years old jumping multiple divisions it smells as if he is cashing out.
